Universal HD44780 LCD interface

YALI ( Yet Another LCD Interface ) is an open-source project to provide a universal interface to drive the popular Hitachi HD44780 LCD controller. This module supports 3.3V and 5V MCUs and hardware development platforms, including Arduino, STM32, PIC, and ESP8266. YALI hardware module. The hardware module of this project consists of a 74HCT08 CMOS AND gate and a 74HC595 8-bit serial-in, parallel-out shift register. This module uses the MP1540 step-up converter to power the LCD unit connected to the system. The module has the jumper to select 3.3V or 5V DC power input.  Bottom side of the YALI hardware module. The YALI library is developed using C and is designed to be easily integrated with any C/C++ embedded toolchain. At the initial design stages, this library was successfully tested with all Arduino development boards, NodeMCU , STM32 Blue Pill , etc. The target system must have three digital output lines with 5V or 3.3V logic levels to interface with the YALI module. As m...

ZFM-20 fingerprint capture library

ZFM-20 is an optical fingerprint sensor module series developed by Zhiantec . Resolution of these fingerprint modules are 256×288 pixels and depending on the module it can be accessible over UART or USB interfaces. Other than capturing fingerprints this module has inbuilt DSP to process and verify captured fingerprints. This ZFM-20 fingerprint library is developed to capture and retrieve fingerprint images from the above sensor module. The main purpose of this library is to use ZFM-20 sensor with PC as a low-cost fingerprint capture unit and because of that, in-module fingerprint processing and verification functions are not implemented in this library. ZFM-20 fingerprint sensor test setup with CH340G serial to USB converter. ZFM20-LIB is x86 native shared library and it's implemented using Lazarus / FPC . This library is developed to use with most of the programming languages which including C , C++ , Delphi , FPC , Microsoft .net framework based languages, etc. Objec...

Simple RdRand base random number generator library

RDRAND is an instruction to return random number from new Intel CPUs. This is NIST SP 800-90A compliant random number generator and now this instruction is a part of IA-32/IA-64 instruction sets. RdRand instruction is available from 3 rd generation Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors. RdRandLib is lightweight DLL to generate random numbers based on RdRand instruction. This library contain signal function to generate one or many random numbers and sample codes are available for C/C++, Delphi, Lazarus and C# languages.  RdRandLib source codes and sample codes are available at http://github.com/dilshan/rdrandlib . Compiled version of DLL is available at http://github.com/dilshan/rdrandlib/releases page.
